When did you switch your framework last time?

I’ve seen JavaScript developers complain that every few years they’re forced to switch frameworks. Angular, React, Vue, Svelte… each one promising stability, then slowly fading out while the next shiny thing takes over. It’s a cycle of rewrites, migration guides, and “deprecated” warnings.

And it hit me: I’ve been really lucky with Delphi.
While others wrestle frameworks, Delphi just builds.

From Windows 95 to today, the same Delphi code still compiles and runs. Can your framework say that?

Think about how many frameworks you’ve switched in the last 5–10 years. Did those rewrites actually bring more stability, or just more headaches? Common complaints come up again and again:

  • “This version is incompatible with the old one.”

  • “The docs are outdated already.”

  • “Half the ecosystem is abandoned.”

  • “We spent months migrating instead of building features.”

With Delphi, I don’t have those problems. My old code still works. My new code compiles to native, cross-platform apps. And the best part? I don’t waste time chasing the next framework trend.

If you’re curious, try the Delphi Community Edition for a week. Build a simple app. See how fast you can go from idea to working software — without the baggage.
